Customers increasingly seek out free Wi-Fi and spend more time inside businesses that offer it. Offering Wi-Fi helps reduce their data costs, provides superior speed, and makes waiting for service more enjoyable. We provide secure high-speed Internet connectivity to your business and our guest Wi-Fi solutions include Healthcare, Enterprise, Hospitality, Retail, Transportation, Public sector, Education, Stadium and Outdoor Wi-Fi.
Secure Wi-Fi managed services can be used to create both public and private Wi-Fi networks, so your public customers are segregated from secure employee access.
We will provide you with a fully managed solution available 24 hours a day, backed with full network monitoring and management for end users to address any connectivity issues.
With our standard package, you can create your own device splash pages that contain your logo or other special offers at login. A cloud-based customer portal gives you fully.
Wi-Fi HotSpot Software does not require any client software installations. It uses captive portal technology to show login page in the customer browser. Upon connecting to your network (using wireless cards or UTP cable), the customer will be prompted to enter a valid username and password to get Internet access. After successful login, your customer will see the remaining time and bandwidth quota, expiration date, and other relevant info.
Easily configure the number of free or paid user devices that can access the Internet. Your license sets maximum users, but you can decrease the number to save bandwidth and resources.
Easily manage your bandwidth by configuring the download and upload speed of each customer’s account. Set maximum available bandwidth quota. Sell high-speed access for an additional fee, or save more bandwidth for VIP customers.
Control wired and wireless computers, smartphones and tablets without any client software installation. Force customers to sign-in or pay on the login screen. HotSpot software works with any device operating system and Internet browser.
Display different login and signup pages in your Wi-Fi locations. Customize and brand pages with logo, colors, theme. Provide free HotSpot service in the lobby and charge the Internet in the rooms.
If you already own access points, routers, and other network equipment, there is no need to change it. Wi-Fi HotSpot software works as a gateway with any hardware. You just have to route all devices through hotspot server running our software.
Know all your hotspots statistics and usage including who is using it, how long, and what they are doing. Easily check time usage, bandwidth, login and sale reports with included graphs, or find out the account download, the number of login per day.
Real-time customer activity shows the download, upload, remaining data transfer quota, and time usage. Activity is updated each second for each customer account, IP and MAC address.
Print accounts, tickets, refills, and receipts using different customizable templates. Tickets can be printed with HotSpot software when needed, or in advance, like 100 tickets printed and distributed to various sales locations.
Create tickets, free or user/pass accounts and assign them an Internet plan. Configure properties like download and upload limit, available time and bandwidth quota, daily or monthly limits for time, quota and number of login, expiration date, multi-login, auto login, inactivity log out, allowed daytime for login, and many more options.
Windows PC with 2 network cards.
Internet modem/router.
Device for providing access to users (Wi-Fi router, Access Point or Switch).
Please connect one network card to the Internet router and then another one to a device that your customers will use to access Hotspot. If you plan to use a Wi-Fi router to provide access for customers, connect it to Hotspot server PC using its LAN (not WAN) port.
Software includes billing, statistics and reporting with many useful features. It is hardware independent and you can use any type of access points, routers, switches and other equipment to control your WiFi, WiMax, LAN, Cable, DSL, Satellite and other types of network connections.
A HotSpot is a location with an access point which provides wireless broadband network services. It is expected today to have Hotspots in heavily populated places such as Cafes, Public Transport, Airports, Terminals etc. Keeping up with email is a basic need for many workers.
If you don’t offer Wi-Fi Internet access people will go to another place.
And this means – less profit for you!
A few more access points and Wi-Fi antennas are required to cover a neighborhood with the Wi-Fi signal. If you plan to cover a large area of your city, you will have to find the correct hotspot locations, like the roofs of buildings with large visibility. This is required as Wi-Fi signal loses strength through walls and other objects.
Although some customer can connect using refracted signal, this is not recommended because of the increase in latency (ping) and signal quality. In order to connect multiple hotspot locations, you will have to build backbone links that will distribute Internet signal.
This means that each HotSpot location will have one or more antennas and Access Points directed to your customers, and backbone equipment. Of course, many Wi-Fi hotspot businesses started with single Access Point, and then grew depending on customer needs. In order to minimize later expenses, it’s good to choose one brand for network equipment (Mikrotik, Linksys, etc.) which has been proven to be stable and reliable.
Use WiFi HotSpot management software to secure your network and block unwanted users. With the HotSpot software, each user is redirected to the HotSpot authentication page. Valid login accounts are required in order to gain Internet access via your Hotspot network. Without correct username and password, the user will not be able to use your services. Secure usage is important for stable profit. If you accept credit cards, customers will expect SSL (Secure connection) to your payment gateway. Only then, the customer will proceed to the checkout page and pay for usage.
If these criteria are not fulfilled, almost all users will immediately leave your Wi-Fi hotspot and go somewhere else for Internet access.
But that’s not all. Your wireless network will reach other people in the neighborhood. It’s very likely that you will get requests for permanent Internet access especially if they do not have a broadband connection.
This will be your test bed for your next business – becoming a WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider).
If you run a coffee shop, bar or restaurant, a WiFi HotSpot network with free access is a great way to increase your sales. While browsing the Internet, customers will spend more time at your place and order another espresso, beer or sandwich. This is a proven concept that many have reported as a profit buster. In addition to a free access mode, you can allow faster connections for a fee.
Experience shows that an Internet connection, in the right place and time, is highly appreciated by professionals doing their job on the move. Paid usage will at least compensate for expenses (and probably earn extra), made by limited free accounts.
Increase your profit with minimal effort!
Use WiFi billing software to limit time, bandwidth quota, download, and upload speed. Bandwidth limitation is often important even if you have a flat rate Internet connection. It limits customer from occupying your entire bandwidth with different P2P, torrent programs and provides an equal experience for every customer.
This also means that more customers can access your network as we know that hardware (like access points etc) also has its own limits. With WiFi HotSpot manager you can create different pricing schemes and charge more expensive for accounts with higher Internet connection speed.
